With 25 years of teaching under my belt, I am excitedly pursuing a job change in the areas of book marketing/publicity, book selling, public relations, administrative/project support, or a different position in elementary education.

My book blog has  over 1,200 followers via RSS feed, Email, Twitter, Goodreads, and Google+.

These are a few of my favorite things...
Reading a variety of genres - Literary fiction, Classics, Memoir, Short Stories, Mystery, Poetry, Historical fiction.
Nature,  gardening, and being outdoors.
Humor/Comedy.
Bookshops and Public Libraries.
Movies that are beautiful, thought-provoking, and/or truly entertaining because they are well done (not cookie cutter predictable - blech!)*
Arts, Knitting, Rubber stamping. 
Haute couture. 
Russian tortoises, guinea pigs, dogs, birds.
Yummy homemade food.
Different genres of music. 
Aesthetically beautiful handmade things.
Kayaking. 
Learning by doing.
Fresh flowers and herbs.
Dunkin Donuts coffee.
Puppets.
Pins with clever sayings.
* I always like the book better than movie.
