Back In My Groove

Sorry for being MIA for the past week...much to my chagrin, real life gets in the way of my reading and blogging.  Okay, I'm back.

Here are some updates:
I will be having three different giveaways during the month of June.  Two of them are blog hops and one is part of a book tour.  Stay tuned for more details!

Yesterday, I discovered "Book Radio" on Sirius XM channel 80.  Potentially great alternative when I'm driving.  Heard part of an author interview and then a book chapter reading.  I'll have to do some more research and find out specifically what types of program segments Book Radio offers (good for long drives?)

I love this article, The Common Language of Books written by Ann and Michael of Books On The Nightstand.
Excerpt: "So why are these introverts so good at chatting with each other? As readers, we are, by definition, “well-read” and that means we can talk about many subjects. Whether you read fiction or nonfiction, you learn things and become conversant on topics you might not otherwise be. And maybe I’m biased, but I think being a reader automatically makes you more interesting, right?"  Check it out!

I keep coming across SO many wonderful book titles (my Goodreads TBR is growing exponentially).  I then reshuffle the ole TBR pile, read a great book, which then leads me off in an unforeseen direction...you know the drill.  I truly need to read as a full-time job!  I get genuinely enthusiastic about all the potentially amazing reads!  You know what I mean?
